About Bamboo Grove

Bamboo (竹, zhú) holds deep symbolic meaning in Chinese culture. It represents resilience and strength, integrity and uprightness, and the ability to grow and renew through life’s changes. When I think of my clients, I am reminded of bamboo — rooted, flexible, and strong. It is my hope that through our work together, their resilience continues to shine and their growth remains steady and meaningful on their healing journey.

Personally, I carry a heart-warming memory tied to bamboo. My late grandfather planted a bamboo forest in his village, and during summer vacation as a kid, he would take me there to wander through the tall stalks and harvest bamboo shoots to sell at the farmer’s market. Every time I stepped in that forest, I felt a deep sense of peace, surrounding by the gentle rustling of leaves and the calming scent of bamboo. But what made those moments truly special was simply being with him, fully present, fully connected.

His hard-working spirit and quiet strength left a lasting impression on me. Today, I hope to carry his legacy forward through my practice, through the care I offer, the skills I’ve cultivated, and my dedication to helping others heal. I believe he would be proud.
